These images were created using various development versions cubeLife (a 2-year development of the applet on this site) to interactively 'paint' on screen in realtime. Colours and other parameters are defined before compiling the code and running the programme. For reference, the final image is of an unmodified single order 3 cube, the form of which is the departure point for the entire work.

CubeLife also runs as a free-standing installation, preferably in a purpose-made small cinema-like environment with comfortable seating to encourage viewing through at least part of a complete cycle of changes.
