virtual image of sensor grid

This experimental work is still in progress after a Year of the Artist residency at LUTCHI, the HCI section of Loughborough University's Computer Science department. There are no current plans to exhibit it until a portable version can be designed.

The code is written in C++, calling OpenGL and using Inventor libraries. It runs on a Silicon Graphics Onyx, although we are looking into porting it to a PC or perhaps a Mac running OSX.

The infra-red sensors are actually quite simple - when a beam is broken a signal is sent. The software we wrote converts these simple signals into the complex moving images.
