NORMAN is an installation which examines and deconstructs that which is perceived to be the 'norm'. How do our bodies define our sense of identity? The work utilises digital technology, and the unique physicality of Juliet Robson's timed live presence as visual artist, performer and paraplegic. The image on the left (one of the projected visuals within the installation) shows a trace of the artist's language of movement when out of her wheelchair, tracked by 3D movement/positional sensors.
